Mark 5:34 / New American Standard Bible: "... your faith has made you well; go in peace and be healed of your affliction"
The woman in the crowd had suffered for more than a decade. All of her money had been spent on doctors, but instead of finding healing she was worse than ever. She believed that just a touch, not even from his holy hand, but from his garment alone, would bring the healing she desired.
Often, we become fixated on doctoring our own wounds so we can make it thr0ugh the day. They may be physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual and we may have tried every possible means to beat them. Why not harm instead t the one who can fully repair us? To the one who knows the temperature of our faith in him, rather than just diagnosing our present and burdensome afflictions? Only faith will give us the peace we need to go forward.
He calls us. He knows your burdens and he wants your faith to be in him and his goodness. What are you seeking healing from today? Put your faith in his goodness and be made whole.
